New features in the stable version of Sublime Text 4

The update highlights of this version are as follows:

• License changes: The Sublime Text License key (registration code) is no longer bound to the independent main version, but is valid for all updates within 3 years after purchase, but the use of the updated version requires an upgrade of the license.
• Support multi-tab tab: convenient to split the view, support through the interface or built-in command line use.

• Support for Apple Silicon and Linux ARM64: Sublime Text for Mac includes native support for Apple Silicon processors, and Linux ARM64 builds are available in devices such as Raspberry Pi.
• Brand new UI interface
• Context-aware auto-completion: This version rewrites the auto-completion engine so that it can provide intelligent completion based on the existing code in the project.

• Support TypeScript, JSX and TSX
• Syntax definition upgrade: The syntax highlighting engine is newly upgraded, which can handle non-deterministic grammar, multi-line statements, lazy embed and grammatical inheritance. In addition, memory usage is reduced and loading speeds are faster.
• GPU rendering: When rendering the interface, the stable version of Sublime Text 4 can use the GPU in Linux, Mac and Windows systems to bring a smooth UI interface with a resolution of up to 8K and consume less energy.
• Python API upgrade: The new version of Sublime Text API is upgraded to Python 3.8, and it has backward compatibility with the Sublime Text 3 package. The Python API has many new features, such as allowing plug-ins such as LSP to run better.
