From the beloved dog adoption app, the innovative countdown app, to the excellent weather app, the #AndroidDevChallenge challenge collected 2,000 entries, which opened our eyes. Developers use Android's new UI toolkit Jetpack Compose to create applications that are really gratifying, especially the creativity and beauty shown in them. Now that we have successfully concluded this challenge, let us look at this wonderful journey , and share the final list of winners!

Week 3-Speed Competition 🏎
It's hard to imagine how fast everyone can complete it! In this week, all developers need to complete our design challenge (if you want to try it yourself, you can get the relevant design template ). We launched this challenge in three different time zones, each of which was constructed based on its own different design templates. The following is the list of winning projects and the time taken to implement the design:
- WeTrade Jorge Baños-2 hours and 43 minutes
- MySoothe Nezih Yılmaz-2 hours and 44 minutes
- Bloom Takaki Hoshikawa-5 hours 57 minutes
It is great to see that the winners can use the theme background and layout function in Compose so quickly. Congratulations to each of them for getting a Pixel 5!
Fourth Week-Weather Application 🌤
Whether it is rainy or sunny, Android developers will never disappoint! Developers use Compose to design the weather application . We evaluated the application from four aspects: code quality, novelty of ideas, visual aesthetics and overall completion. Since the works are hard to separate, we invited Google Developer Expert to help us decide on the winning projects:
- code quality : Paulo Pereira- JetWeatherfy
- novelty : Roman Levinzon- Colony X Weather
- Visual aesthetics : Chris Horner- Weather Scene
- Overall completion : Corentin Bect- Flux
Each winner gets a Google Pixel 5!
It is great to see thousands of people participating in the Jetpack Compose #AndroidDevChallenge event. We hope that this challenge will enable you to start your Jetpack Compose learning journey in an interesting way and prepare to apply it to your application construction.
