The Android for Cars application library helps your application reach a new milestone!

In April of this year, we announced the launch of the first version of Android for Cars application library in Jetpack, allowing developers to publish navigation, parking and charging applications in the Google Play store.

Now, we announce that version 1.1 has entered the Alpha stage, which will bring the following features to developers:

• login template -Allow users to log in to your app directly from the car screen when parking.
• Long Message Template -Allows you to display long messages such as terms of service to users as part of the parking setup process.
• Multiple word length text -The amount of text displayed on different car screen sizes is different. We have added an API, you can use this API to specify multiple different text strings in the selected template to adapt to different screen sizes.
• Map Interactivity -You can now add new features such as zooming and panning to the navigation template.

The functions of these development libraries are currently only available for testing in the Desktop Head Unit. We will announce when these functions will be available in cars in the future.
