What I bring to you today is [Operation Practice of Ukylin Open Source Community]. First of all, I will introduce myself. I am Liu Min, from Kylin Software Co., Ltd., and I am mainly responsible for the operation of Ukylin community. The topic of my speech today is mainly from the following four aspects: What is Ukylin, the development and operation model of our Ukylin open source community, the introduction of our community platform operation, and the case sharing of our community activities.
First of all, I will introduce you to the Unikylin open source community. is an open source desktop operating system based on Ubuntu, mainly a global open source project led by CCN Open Source Innovation Joint Laboratory and Kylin Software Co., Ltd. CCN mainly represents the Software and Integrated Circuit Promotion Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and Canonical, which is the parent company of Ubuntu; and our NUDT, which is the National University of Defense Technology.
We have officially become the official derivative version of Ubuntu from version 13.04, and the version we release every year is also released globally simultaneously with the upstream. The development goal of our Ukylin open source operating system is to be the world's best Linux open source desktop operating system. Our version design concept is mainly to provide users with more concise, superior, comprehensive, and intelligent products, in order to provide users with a better user experience, better product quality, and better hardware adaptation, software compatibility and The Linux operating system of the ecological environment provides users with a more community-based and more international development participation model. Our community goal is to spread open source in China and spread China to the world.

At the same time, Unikylin also won the "Excellent Open Source Project in China" and the "First Prize of Science and Technology Progress of China Computer Association". In 2016, Kylin Software officially joined the Linux Foundation and became a full member of the foundation.
Next is an introduction to our community development and operation. All of our main code repositories are on our intranet GitLab, but we will synchronize all the codes to GitHub, Gitee and Launchpad three external fan development platforms in real time. Fans can use external platforms, such as Speaking of GitHub, Gitee and Launchpad, they contribute to our open source projects, and the code received by us will also be synchronized to the main repository of Gitlab on our intranet. This is the address of our Ubuntu Kylin project on GitHub. All of our operating system codes including application software are open source, so if you are interested in our project, you can download our code for reference.
We currently have 68 public projects and 213 development contributors. The following are our PR numbers and fork numbers last year. This is our UKUI project. All of our These projects received upstream have also been merged into the Ubuntu distribution.
introduced some of the contributions of our community, we found that in the development of the community, in addition to the exchange of code, the most important thing is communication. In addition to the several developer platforms mentioned above-GitHub, Code Cloud, and launchpad, we also have IRC channels that are often used by developers, and our developers will also be in it; there are also mailing lists and us Regular IRC online meetings and Google Meeting online meetings, as well as occasional offline meetings.
In addition, we also have an active testing platform. Our system testing includes the entire ISO image integration test, as well as software package testing and hardware testing. In addition to our official daily version testing, we will also hold regular meetings with other releases. Testing activities, including testing week activities with Ubuntu and Kubuntu. In addition, in the documentation and translation platform, we have contributed to the upstream translation of more than 30,000 terms and more than 100 open source technical documents. This is a translation platform of Ubuntu, and everyone can participate in all translation contributions of Ubuntu. In addition to using Ubuntu's translation platform, we have also built our own translation platform Weblate, which can work well with Github and Gitlab; currently we have received contributions from many foreign users on the weblate translation platform. There are 105 languages for translation, including English, French, Portuguese, Arabic, Polish and our minority Tibetan.
