Tencent WeTest participated in the National Standards Seminar on DevOps Capability Maturity Model

On July 14, 2021, the National Standards Seminar on "System and Software Engineering, Integration of Development Operation and Maintenance, Capability Maturity Model" under the jurisdiction of China Electronics Standardization Research Institute ("Electronic Standards Institute") was held in Hangzhou NetEase Building Officially launched, a period of 3 days.

The conference was attended by nearly 40 expert representatives from 15 units including the Institute of Electronic Standards, Nanjing University, Huawei, NetEase, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, COMAC North Research Center, Tencent, China Information Technology, Academy of Military Sciences, and Zhendui.

The formulation of the national standard "System and Software Engineering, Integration of Development and Operation and Maintenance, Capability Maturity Model" will fully absorb software engineering, project management, product management, organizational governance, quality management, excellent performance management, lean software development and other fields. On the basis of excellent practices, we will create a maturity level model that meets the actual development of the domestic software industry, and quantify the requirements of key practices in multiple dimensions to provide support for the achievement and innovation of organizational strategies and enhance industrial innovation capabilities.

Dr. Rong Guoping, head of the DevOps Lab of Nanjing University, presided over the seminar and introduced the objectives, main content and maturity model (Level 1 to Level 5) of the conference to each unit, and related to the maturity level proposed on the spot Questions are answered.

Representatives of the participating units on the site introduced their respective competency domain content and writing ideas, including project management, process improvement, support and guarantee, product development, infrastructure, service management and other different competence domains, and centered on the background status of standard development, The general idea, technical route and scope of application have been intensely discussed and exchanged.

As one of the main drafting units, Tencent led and participated in the discussion of various DevOps competency domains such as project management, process improvement, support and assurance, and product development. The site shared Tencent WeTest’s technical capabilities and practical experience in many fields, and brought it to the standard formulation work of R&D efficiency enhancement, quality management and application specifications, and participated in the compilation of estimation and planning capabilities, risk and risk in project management. As early as last year, Tencent WeTest had already passed the first batch of advanced tool assessments for trusted cloud DevOps based on its accumulated practical experience and strong strength in the testing field. Outstanding performance in the five important modules of interface testing, UI testing, adaptation testing, performance testing, and client performance testing.
