Unlike the IaaS layer that provides standardized products and the SaaS layer that provides software ease of use, the PaaS layer has many functions and service fields, let alone a unified standard. As a PaaS layer communication capability service provider that serves a large number of developers, Rongyun has accumulated a lot of experience of service developers.

Ren Jie said that in addition to the completeness, reliability, and data accuracy of PaaS products, which are the "quality" that Rongyun has always adhered to, Rongyun is also gradually exploring the connotation of developer services. Focusing on the scene-oriented SDK, clear and easy-to-understand notes and documentation for developers, a strong service team to respond to developers’ personalized questions in a timely manner, automated troubleshooting tools and communities, etc.-these are all that Rongyun is committed to providing developer services Sincerity to do better.

Ren Jie further shared his observation and analysis of development ecology. He said that from all self-built (earlier to self-built computer rooms and deployment of servers) to professional division of labor, the development ecology has gradually emerged. On top of the underlying capabilities provided by IaaS vendors, the communication track and PaaS vendors are in the operational layer directly related to the developer's App functions. Rongyun now focuses on services directly and indirectly related to communications. Other PaaS/SaaS vendors provide operational services such as e-commerce, advertising, marketing, and so on. And these services do not solve the problem of the developer's own skills, but solve the capability modules needed in the construction and operation of the system. Rongyun will try its best to provide developers as much as possible.

The interesting thing about ecology is the mutual penetration of all parties. Ren Jie said that the market is changing, and the ecology is constantly evolving. Rongyun does not rule out the possibility of going upward from a scenario-based SDK to a SaaS product. Currently, Rongyun has two products on the market that are close to SaaS-Anxin (used for enterprise internal communication, similar to enterprise WeChat or DingTalk) and Rongyun Conference (used for corporate office meetings). In the future, Rongyun will continue to work with IaaS vendors such as AWS (overseas), Alibaba, etc. to jointly develop the developer ecosystem, and other PaaS vendors, such as CDN, content review (such as cooperation with Yitu), AI (such as cooperation with SenseTime), etc. , Mutual integration and cross-selling, making it easier for customers in each other’s developer market to acquire capabilities and reducing costs.
