Nervos will jointly hold an online hackathon with Gitcoin

Nervos & Gitcoin bounty program held previously, the enthusiasm of the participants was unprecedented, and the activity also achieved very good results. This time, we are very happy to be able to cooperate with Gitcoin again to co-host the three-week Nervos online hackathon . This event will provide a total of 150,000 US dollars in rewards (excluding the 50,000 US dollars in bounty program).

Now, we officially invite you, talented, to use Nervos' next-generation toolset and create top-notch Layer 2 applications:

• Force Bridge : A cross-chain bridge that allows assets to be transferred between CKB and Ethereum. More chains will be supported in the future.
• Polyjuice : A scalable smart contract platform that makes EVM compatible with Solidity.
• Godwoken : The Rollup framework on CKB can verify its execution without trust on the base layer protocol.

This Nervos hackathon welcomes any kind of application to participate in the selection, we have listed the following applications to provide you with inspiration:

• Decentralized exchange: on-chain order book mode exchange, automatic market maker exchange, DEX aggregator
• Mortgage stablecoin
• Lending and derivatives market
• Oracle
• Synthetic assets
• DAO
• And any other innovative things

Application submission requirements

• The submitted application must be open source and deployed on the Aggron testnet with links provided;
• Sufficient files are required to compile and deploy the application;
• The application needs to be useful and interesting;
• A demo video (5-10 minutes) must be submitted to explain the project and how to use it;
• All projects must be submitted before 15:59 (23:59 UTC) on October 4, Beijing time.

 

Hackathon rewards

In this Nervos online hackathon, the total reward is US$ :

• First prize: 1 winner, with a prize of 40,000 USD (CKB)
• Second prize: 2 winners with a prize of 20,000 USD (CKB)
• Third prize: 5 winners, prize money of 10,000 USD (CKB)
• Honorable mention: 10 winners, prize money of 2,000 USD (CKB)

All awards will be decided by the judges.

• Judging: October 5th to October 8th
• Award announcement: October 11
