Please tell us how you got involved with blockchain?

I like to think wildly about some problems. The initial connection with the blockchain was that I wanted to design a general solution to motivate people’s behavior and attention, but I have not found a good way to achieve it. Later, when I was collecting information on the Internet one day, I stumbled upon relevant information about blockchain technology, which opened the door to a new world.

I started to learn web3 related knowledge, participated in some open source technology communities, and tried to do several blockchain projects. In the process, I learned a lot of interdisciplinary knowledge, met a group of interesting and like-minded friends, and felt The charm of blockchain technology, and finally I decided to join the wave of blockchain and participate in the construction!

Where did you learn about and start contacting FISCO BCOS? What kind of open source community do you think FISCO BCOS is?

The connection with FISCO BCOS was based on the research of the underlying consortium chain technology based on the traceability business. At that time, many consortium chain platforms on the market were studied. After a comprehensive comparison, the technical maturity, openness, technology stack, business fit and community support were After a comprehensive evaluation of these factors, the development based on FISCO BCOS was finally selected.

FISCO BCOS has complete technical documentation and is an open source community with a strong technical atmosphere. It also has complete official support and a rich case library, which saves a lot of time and cost for subsequent development. I really like the strong atmosphere of community technical discussions. When encountering problems, developers and enthusiasts in the community will patiently solve and communicate.

What is the opportunity and starting point for your research and development of Mengzheng Chain?

The research and development of Mengzheng Chain is based on an application of data storage and traceability. Considering the privacy and sensitivity of data, FISCO BCOS, which supports the national secret standard, is selected for private platform deployment.

After the end of this project, we saw the scalability and future development prospects of FISCO BCOS. At that time, the country was vigorously promoting the development of the alliance chain platform. We expanded into an independent alliance chain platform on this basis, mainly focusing on A comprehensive platform that combines artificial intelligence and big data, such as data storage and traceability, supply chain finance, and data sharing.

At present, how is the development of Mengzheng Chain? Have you completed the vision and starting point at that time?

Up to now, Mengzheng Chain has been running smoothly for more than half a year. There are six cooperative enterprises on the chain. There are four applications based on Mengzheng Chain, which are agricultural product traceability applications, data sharing applications, blockchain e-commerce and industrial supply. Chain ticket application.

These achievements have been affirmed and praised by leaders of relevant government departments. In the future, we will expand to multiple scenarios such as people's livelihood, government affairs, and finance based on Mengzheng Chain to build a blockchain technology inclusive platform, so that blockchain technology can effectively solve the problem. People's livelihood and social issues are facilitated by technology for thousands of households.

"Failure is better than standing still"

What difficulties and doubts did you encounter during the development process? How to overcome these difficulties? Who helped you in this process, and what experiences and insights did you gain?

The biggest problem encountered during the research and development process was the doubts from the partners. At that time, one of our cross-border e-commerce partners felt that the mechanism of the alliance chain was not democratic and open enough. They believed that from the perspective of the system, the admin account can be used at any time. Add or delete committee members, and you can freeze the contract at any time, so the admin is the centralized node. But in fact, this problem can be solved by controlling the permissions of the admin account through code.

Later, we solved this problem by dividing the administrator's private key into multiple shares using the key splitting algorithm to jointly manage it, and also dispelled users' doubts. I would also like to thank the community classmate Li Dagou for giving us many valuable suggestions.

Mengzheng Chain is an application developed based on FISCO BCOS. In the process of using FISCO BCOS, what development experience or lessons have I shared with you? How to better integrate into the community and make good use of community resources?

When building the application, we took a lot of detours at the beginning, and the initial idea was to adjust the platform based on the business.

It took a lot of effort later, but it did not achieve the effect. Instead, we changed the platform to be different. We adjusted our thinking and adjusted the business logic based on the characteristics of the platform. On the premise of achieving the expected effect, we should try our best to conform to the platform and reduce the a lot of work.

In addition, in the specific development, in addition to official documents, you should also read more community (public account) documents, especially some senior documents who have stepped on the pit, which can help avoid many problems and avoid many detours!

If you describe yourself in three words, what kind of person do you think you are? Why these three words?

If I were to describe myself in three words, I would express myself like this: rational, persistent and courageous.

Rationality: I am a person who emphasizes methodology. For me, the underlying logic of things is more important than the appearance. Putting aside the noisy sound of appearances and exploring the essence of things, can I stick to my own opinions and not go with the flow.

Perseverance: When I find an interesting thing, I will understand it clearly and think about how to combine it with the existing system. In the process, I gain new knowledge, have fun in thinking, and gain in practice Value and recognition!

Kokang: When I think the project has a certain feasibility, I will immediately start gathering resources and start advancing. Rather than waiting for the opportunity to slip away, it is better to try it myself. Even if it fails, it is worse than standing still.

What are your future plans for Mengzheng Chain and its own development?

For myself, I have formulated a series of specific indicators for myself, such as what technology should I learn at what point in time, and what kind of person I will become in three or five years.

For Mengzheng Chain, I want to expand it into a general open platform in the future, integrating government departments management nodes, financial institution supervision nodes, enterprise nodes and other comprehensive alliances, and it is currently extending in this direction.

The blockchain is gradually changing from the virtual to the real, and more and more blockchain applications are emerging. Please summarize the future and development of the blockchain in one sentence.

I am firmly optimistic about the future development of blockchain technology. This is a bottom-up transformation and will gradually play an increasingly important role in politics, economy, culture, people's livelihood and social governance in the future!

FISCO BCOS is a very innovative open source blockchain platform. I hope that more and more interesting mechanisms will come out in the future, and I hope that more enterprises will adopt it. After all, such a good open source platform, who uses it who knows!
