A new track for IPFS technology development, Jupiter Hackathon—IPFS Developer Contest opens up new application scenarios

To help Asian developers who use IPFS technology certify, accelerate, and incubate their wonderful ideas, cultivate a global developer community to create new start-ups based on the IPFS protocol, develop innovative applications, solve major problems, and make the future of the network more Powerful, secure and decentralized.

We sincerely invite the development team to use any IPFS-based applications and services to develop and create applications, and look forward to providing new ideas for the advancement of IPFS technology and the development of applications through this competition.

Question description

IPFS (Inter Planetary File System) is a point-to-point network and open source protocol developed and designed by the Protocol Lab to make the network faster, safer, and more open. IPFS enables the network to be upgraded to support peer-to-peer work and content-addressable data, instead of the traditional way of addressing data by location and hosting party.

Participants

Traditional Internet developers and blockchain developers who are interested in Web3.0 distributed storage.
Participants register for the competition based on the team as the basic unit, with groups of 1 to 5 and form their own teams.

Contest schedule

2021.8.25-2021.9.30: Competition registration & preliminary submission submission
After registering and submitting the preliminary works, 9.7 and 9.22 will each participate in the online workshop.

2021.10.1-2021.10.14: Preliminary online review
The list of finalists will be announced in the ranking of the matches on the Tianchi platform before 23:59:59 on October 15, 2021.

2021.10.23: Finals offline demo and awards
Teams that pass the online preliminary rounds will be invited to the offline finals. The final Demo Day lasted one day and was held in Shanghai.

Submission standard

The online preliminary contest must meet the minimum submission criteria (that is, at least the following information is submitted to meet the minimum criteria for passing the preliminary contest). The criteria include:

1. Project description

Project name, project overview
Names/nicknames and contact information of team members (such as GitHub account, email address, etc.)
How the application project uses IPFS or its services for development and creation

2. Visible links to accessible or open source code/libraries

Provide a comprehensive README document, must include a clear and detailed job description in the README document
The README document should also include references to IPFS or related services in its application, and how to apply them technically.
Contains demo links to displayable projects or provides test guides

Three, display

2~3 minutes project presentation video, including: 1) project name; 2) overview including project design, innovation/uniqueness, technical complexity, scalability and creativity; 3) display in some form The project is developed and created on IPFS (or its products/services).

Submission method

Please pack all the above required content before 23:59:59 on September 30, 2021, and upload it to the Tianchi platform in ZIP format.

Note:

Damaged links or links with incorrect addresses will directly withdraw from the review process;
Unless there are substantial updates or changes, the application project can only be submitted once in different hackathon events and participate in the award.

Judging criteria and award setting

Grading:

The judges have rich experience in creating solutions based on IPFS, and will apply an equal weight scoring system of 1 to 5 points based on the following five indicators: 1) design; 2) innovation; 3) technical complexity; 4 ) Daily/scale usability; 5) Creativity/interesting
