As the main stream processing computing engine Apache Flink came into being. It was officially open sourced in 2014, and it has been the most active open source project of the Apache Foundation for three consecutive years since 2018. According to data from Flink's official website, at least two-thirds of developers are from China, which means that China's open source power is rising and beginning to shine on the international stage.

Since the establishment of the Flink Chinese Community in 2018, Flink has been implemented in many domestic industries and has increasingly become a surging driving force for the digital transformation of enterprises.

At the beginning of its establishment, the Flink Chinese community introduced Flink Forward, the top event in the community, and officially upgraded Flink Forward China to Flink Forward Asia (FFA) in 2019. Flink Forward Asia gathers best industry practices and latest Flink technology trends every year, and actively embraces ecological partners to jointly build a prosperous open source big data ecosystem.

Flink Forward Asia 2021 is officially launched!

As the most anticipated annual meeting of community developers, this year's Flink Forward Asia 2021 has officially launched! FFA 2021 will be held at the Beijing National Convention Center on December 4-5. It is expected that 3000+ developers will participate to discuss and exchange the latest developments in Flink.

Continuing the FFA practice, all topics of the conference are openly solicited and selected by a professional topic selection committee. The content is completely de-commercialized and represents the industry's leading level.

Super lineup issue selection committee

FFA 2021 invited 11 industry leaders and pioneers to form a topic selection committee, and continued to be chaired by Jia Yangqing, head of Alibaba's Open Source Technology Committee, and 11 experts jointly escorted the content of the conference.

Flink Forward Asia 2021 will present all the highlights of the conference in the form of topic tags, and will span multiple industries and new scenarios around Flink. You can choose 1-2 tags for each topic. The main tags are divided as follows:
