At the meeting, Long Zhigang, the second-level inspector of the Hunan Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, proposed to deepen the integration and development of digital technology and traditional industries, and welcomed Alibaba Cloud and other related companies to contribute to the digital construction of Hunan Province's industrial digitalization and the upgrading of county-level characteristic industries.

Through automatic irrigation and weather warning services, it saves orchards at least 20% of labor costs and reduces more than 30% of weather disaster losses, so that traditional farmers’ planting experience can be transformed into a "planting model", and the refined management and intelligence of citrus planting can be realized Decision support.

After nearly half a year of grounding and polishing, Alibaba Cloud Digital Intelligence Farm has set up a 20,000-mu citrus digital orchard in Chenzhou, different from the traditional agricultural information system, and truly "a mobile phone manages the orchard and makes data a new agricultural material." At the same time, the county-level standardization solution of Alibaba Cloud Digital Intelligence Farm has begun to be promoted in major citrus counties in Hunan, and has received extensive attention from local agricultural related units.

At the meeting, Wang Nianshuai from Alibaba Cloud Global Technical Services Department and Dong Shengyu from the Rural Finance Department of Internet Commercial Bank explained how to help citrus digitization from industrial operations and financial services.

At the conference, leading companies in the counties of Yongxing, Yizhang, and Mayang in Hunan Province announced to join the IoT Digital Intelligence Farm and become the vanguard of citrus digitization.
