After the eleventh long holiday, you can expect more than just a new round of work for workers and scholars. Windows 11 was also quietly officially released on October 5, and the official version has been opened for download for MSDN subscribers.
As a gold partner of Microsoft, Ben Grape received the installation package as soon as possible. As long as I update fast enough, the old version will not catch up with me. Let us quickly open the relevant content and experience Win11 together. Complete the installation process~
System environment
You can see the environmental requirements of Windows 11 on the Microsoft website.
TPM2.0 is stuck with the option I installed on the virtual machine (VirtualBox), and I have not been successful. Ben Grape decided to directly upgrade the laptop for work. This is a Lenovo ThinkPad T580, equipped with an eighth-generation i5 CPU, 16GB of memory and a 512GB solid state drive.
After backing up important files, let us directly open the iso image file to start the Windows 11 upgrade journey.
Upgrade installation process
The upgrade installation process took about half an hour. From clicking the installer to entering the new desktop, it can be divided into the following three steps:
Prepare
Run setup.exe in the installation image on Windows 10, and the system will automatically prompt to upgrade. This is the same as when Windows 8.1 is upgraded to Windows 10. Well, even the interface is similar. Follow the prompts on the interface and click Next.

In this link, the installation package will be automatically connected to the Internet to obtain updates. The waiting time will be different under different network speeds. According to previous experience, we can also disconnect the network to install, and the installation program will skip the process of checking for updates.

When you see that you are ready to install, click the install button, and the first step is complete. Here "do not retain any content"; it means that the files in the system disk are not retained, including programs, configurations (such as Edge favorites, historical records, etc.), and temporary files. Files under other drive letters will not be deleted, please rest assured.

During the installation process, we can't do much, we can only watch the progress on the interface in a daze, or go for a cup of coffee.

Configuration
In the first two steps, the installation interface style and experience of Windows 11 is no different from that of Windows 10 or even earlier versions.
After entering the configuration phase, the interface style has changed suddenly, and there is no shadow of the previous Windows version at all!
With the large-sized icons and rounded rectangle frame borders, I thought I was entering the Android interface, not Windows.
Why is it that a straight man with big eyebrows and big eyes like Windows has started a little fresh one?

In Windows 11, Microsoft promoted the use of Microsoft account to log in more strongly, so the local account was hidden deeper.
If you are more inclined to use a local account like me, you can find the login option on the page that prompts to add an account, and then select an offline account. From the neutral Local to the derogatory Offline, you can also change this term. See Microsoft's careful machine.
Useless, this grape is not fooled.
(Configure Windows 11, use local account)
(Configure Windows 11, use local account)
At this time, Microsoft is still trying to retain it for the last time. It is recommended that you use a Microsoft account. I chose to skip it. Then I saw the interface for entering the user name.

After some operations, a new desktop and a new start menu came into view. Windows 11, start!

Because the Windows 10 before XiaoGrape is the activated version, after the computer is upgraded to Windows 11, there is no need to reactivate the operation, the system will automatically become the activated state.
First Experience
This time I upgraded to Windows 11 on my daily work computer, which mainly consisted of Office Family Bucket, WeChat, QQ and Grape City’s own products. In just two days of use, I did not find any operational inconvenience. It can be said that apart from the new interface style, Windows 11 does not have a strong sense of existence.
This may be the duty of the operating system.
Of course, if you, like me, don’t look pleasing to the center taskbar, you can also set it to the far left, so that Windows 11 is more like Windows 10. The setting method is to right-click on the taskbar, then find the taskbar behavior and modify the taskbar alignment.
(Restore the Windows 11 taskbar to the left)
In fact, Little Grape is not the first person to use Windows 11 in Grape City. The students on the development team used Windows 11 as a test environment as early as the Beta, and they are testing and optimizing the product. Therefore, if you are using the latest version of Grape City's development tool products, such as the designer of the movable type low-code development platform, Wyn Enterprise, SpreadJS, etc., you should be able to continue to use it after upgrading to Windows 11.
Summarize
Windows 11 is the latest operating system launched by Microsoft. It has changed a lot from the previous Windows in terms of interface style and user experience. It has absorbed many excellent designs of mobile OS. The rounded corners of the frame, the larger icons and more panels in the built-in applications make Windows 11 more like Android on the computer.
It’s worth encouraging that while providing a new design, Microsoft has not made too many compromises on compatibility. Daily-used software including Office, WeChat, QQ, and PotPlayer can all run on the new system, bringing users It's convenient. I believe that in the next few months, more people will upgrade their computers to Windows 11 like me.
From Ben grape's point of view, Windows 11 seems to be a step further to the future, what do you think?
