On October 15, Microsoft released Windows 11 build 22478 to Windows 11 Insider users in the Dev channel. Microsoft introduced a new version of the emoji Fluent Emoji in this version.

As early as July, the Microsoft design team announced the refreshed and new Fluent emoji, which will be launched in all Microsoft 365 - including Windows.

However, to the disappointment of netizens, these Emoji emojis brought by Microsoft Windows 11 are not the previously advertised 3D design versions, which can be said to be far different.

According to Brandon LeBlanc, senior project manager of the Windows Insider Program, the 3D emoji shown in the picture above will not appear on the emoji panel of Windows 11. The emoji on Windows 11 is still a 2D version.

It is reported that the Windows UK Twitter account has been promoting 3D emoticons before. When asked by netizens whether WindowsUK is false promotion, LeBlanc replied: "No, they didn't lie to you. You are a bit exaggerated. They just used the wrong picture. Sorry for that. We will ensure that they use the correct graphics in the future."

As a communication tool, the emoticon pack contains netizens' vision for more perfect, easier, more harmonious, and more accurate communication. Faced with this Microsoft operation, many heavy emoji users said: I don’t understand!
