Now is the era of "Ops" prevailing. As a CI/CD pipeline solution, GitOps is described as the "Holy Grail" of the software development process, which can satisfy continuous delivery in a cloud-native environment. GitOps is a model for continuous delivery. Its core idea is to store all applications running in Kubernetes or other declarative orchestration frameworks in Git's version control library through descriptive files, and use Git to manage infrastructure and applications Configuration. Choerodon referred to the GitOps model and practiced it when building the continuous delivery pipeline. As the saying goes, "the soldiers and horses are not moving, the theory goes first", I will focus on explaining the principles and models of the GitOps workflow, as well as some practical experience in applying them to production and large-scale operation of Kubernetes.
