List of new policies
Malicious download program
We will mobile junk software policy, prohibiting "it is not junk software but will download other mobile junk software (MUwS) code".
Added guidelines for mainstream browsers and file sharing applications.
Children and families: social applications and functions
We will add new specifications for children’s social applications and children’s applications with social functions to the family policy requirements. Such applications must:
- Remind users in the app how to safely interact with others online.
- To have the corresponding function, children must obtain adult approval to open the chat function that allows sharing of personal information, and provide a way to continuously manage social functions.
In addition, if the main purpose of the application is to allow users to chat with strangers, children will not be the target audience.
Android emoji
We will add the Android emoji policy, which requires apps running on Android 12 and higher to comply with the latest version of Unicode-approved emoji regulations within 4 months of launch. This policy also provides developers with different ways to comply with regulations.

Children and families: advertising and monetization
We will clarify the family policy "advertising and monetization" policy requirements, clearly stated that all revenue-generating behavior and advertising in child-oriented apps must comply with this policy, and the policy applies to all monetization and advertising in your app content include:

We will clarify the subscription policy, and more clearly prohibit apps that can give users a deceptive or manipulative shopping experience (including in-app purchases or subscriptions).
"Data Security" Part
The Play Management Center is ready to submit the content of the "Data Security" section. Here are a few key points in time:
- October 2021: Start to fill out your "Data Security" form and add a privacy policy
- February 2022: Users will see this feature in the Google Play Store
- April 2022: Approval deadline for forms and privacy policy
