Today, I want to share with you how Huawei's machine learning service (ML Kit) empowers developers, and how the ultra-lightweight AI inference engine MindSpore Lite and HUAWEI HiAI Foundation help developers achieve machine learning capabilities.

AI has affected all aspects of our lives and work

Since the concept of artificial intelligence (AI) was proposed in 1956, it has experienced ups and downs, and the breadth and depth of business coverage has been further optimized. All sectors of society also have strong demands and higher expectations for AI. For example, the use of AI for document processing in the financial field can greatly improve work efficiency; the media field uses real-time translation robots to promote information exchange; machine teaching assistants in the education field improve students' intelligent learning experience...

Huawei's machine learning service open capabilities

Huawei's machine learning service is based on terminal equipment, focusing on the open capabilities of people, cars, and office scenarios, including text, voice, language, image, and human face. Developers can also quickly train and generate custom models, such as custom picture classification, text classification, etc.

Facing changing application scenarios at any time, Huawei's machine learning service continues to optimize model weight, model accuracy, and model share, and is committed to providing developers with comprehensive and in-depth Huawei machine learning solutions.

As shown in the figure below, after the AI application integrates Huawei's machine learning services, MindSpore Lite provides a full-scenario AI reasoning framework with easy-to-use interfaces, complete operator performance, and extensive support for third-party models. HiAI Foundation, as a basic platform for chip enablement, taps more AI capabilities. It will eventually serve consumer terminals and IoT industry terminals.

In the future, with developers as the center, we will continue to improve the level of AI. The main directions are as follows:

1. In-depth basic research in multiple fields. Further explore in the areas of data efficiency, energy efficiency, security and credibility, and automatic autonomy.

2. Build an efficient and easy-to-use platform. Provide independent and collaborative full-stack solutions, abundant and economical computing resources, and an efficient and easy-to-use full-process AI platform to make developers feel better.

3. Provide greater value. Facing the world, we continue to cooperate extensively with developers, research institutes and other resources; make full use of AI thinking and technology to provide more open capabilities.
