AI editing and custom UI to create a smarter editing experience

In order to satisfy developers to build efficient in-app video editing capabilities, HMS Core 6.0 launched the video editing service (Video Editor Kit) in July, and the one-stop video processing capabilities have received positive responses. At the same time, we are also concerned that developers need to integrate rich, diverse, lively and interesting video editing functions to meet the individual needs of users. Therefore, in this 6.2.0 version, we have brought two major changes for everyone.

Multiple AI capabilities to create a smarter editing experience

Huawei's video editing service adds AI algorithms such as character tracking, one-click hair coloring, AI coloring, exclusive filters, dynamic photos, etc., providing developers with smarter application editing functions, allowing users to easily create movie-level special effects. For example, person tracking can automatically identify the target person in the video, lock the center position, and easily create a protagonist video of a specific person. In the travel scene, the videos taken by users in scenic spots often have a messy background and a large number of people. Using the character tracking function when editing, you can stand firmly in the "C position" without fear of confusion.

• The exclusive filter can reproduce the filter style of your favorite picture with one click, and achieve the same filter effect as your favorite picture, creating a full sense of atmosphere.

• One-click hair coloring, the user can switch between multiple hair colors with a single tap of a finger. In recording short video scenes, different clothes are matched with changeable hair colors to meet the individual needs of users.

• Dynamic photos, easily achieve dynamic effects such as smiling and nodding in static pictures.

• AI coloring, intelligently coloring photos or videos, and generate temperature colored photos.

Two UI integration methods: flexible choice, easy to build

After the update, Huawei Video Editing Service provides two integration methods: Video Editing UI SDK and Video Editing Atomic Capability SDK.

• UI SDK provides a fixed UI interface, which can be directly integrated by developers, which can be completed in as fast as 2 hours, saving time and effort;
• The Atomic Capability SDK provides a variety of capability interfaces, which can customize the UI interface to build a personalized application vision and page design.
