What do we need to build the innovative applications of the future?
Developers are pushing innovation all the time. Ashmi first shared her views on how to seize opportunities that can bring influence. Then, Donovan introduced his definition of cloud native, the benefits of microservice architecture, and discussed DevOps and Chaos Engineering with Rick. The meeting also covered how to modernize .NET and Java applications. Finally, Amanda Silver demonstrated how tools such as GitHub Actions, Codespaces, and Playwright can help development, testing, and CI/CD without being restricted by languages and frameworks.
The following illustration illustrates the part of cloud native and DevOps, showing the new Azure Container apps public preview version , which is a fully managed serverless container service that is built for microservices and can be based on HTTP traffic, events, or Dynamic expansion of long-running background jobs.
Regarding container and innovation 161bdcd4a8bb95, creating microservice applications on Azure**, the conference demonstrated Azure Container apps and Azure Kubernetes Service's Open Service Mesh (OSM) add-on, which is a CNCF Envoy project based on A lightweight and scalable cloud-native open source service grid built.
