Recently, domestic API management tools are relatively popular, and several products have done a good job at the API management level, but they mainly focus on HTTP-related API management. After all, this type of API is still the most widely used. But obviously, there are many other application scenarios that are not covered at present. DD has often seen fans ask in previous tweets: Does it support WebSocket? Does it support gRPC? Does it support GraphQL?

DD specifically went to check a few domestic products that have relatively good support at the API management level, but the support for other protocols is not very complete, such as the ones mentioned above.

In this regard, Postman, as an old-fashioned API management tool, really does the best job. WebSocket, Socket.IO, and GraphQL have been supported before. This release brings support for gRPC. (Note: v9.7.1 and above are required)

How to use this function? I made a video here and put it on station B to have a more intuitive feeling.

I am going to update the video this year, so if you are interested, you can follow me.

Currently, this gRPC functionality is still in the Beta stage. According to the official introduction, other supporting functions related to API management such as documentation, scripts, and testing will be added in the future. Of course, as a management tool used by the team, sharing and collaboration are bound to be indispensable.

Finally, do a small survey, among several API management tools, which one do you think is the best? leave a message
