We've talked about why low-code is important and why companies need to embrace it, and with most companies already adopting low-code, we need to go one step further. The demand for applications in today's society is unprecedented, and the dilemma that many companies face is a shortage of developers and insufficient technical talents to meet the development and iteration needs. And in the statistics of companies that have adopted low-code and converged teams, we're seeing improvements, with professional developers, individual developers, and IT professionals working together to build, deploy, and manage applications.
Pay-As-You-
Start with a professional developer and bring low-code to your organization. The Power Apps Developer Program allows developers to start their journey with a fully functional environment for free.
In the past, prepaid subscription licenses were required when your developers were ready to deploy their Microsoft Power Platform solutions to your end users. This process can add time to building, delivering the solution, and assigning licenses. To simplify this process and get apps into the hands of users faster, developers now have the flexibility to use a Microsoft Azure subscription to license users on a pay-as-you-go basis through Power Apps.
Fusion Team
With comment collaboration, you can add comments, feedback, and conversations with partners directly in context as you build applications, processes, or chatbots, just like in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Developers can already build complex Power Apps with the richness of adding logic with Power Fx, the formula language for Power Apps. Enabling open source collaboration for Power Fx through GitHub and the developer community, we allow developers to participate in the process by adding advanced logic as part of their fusion process, and support Power Fx and Power Apps creators across the organization.
Developers can manage GitHub Codespaces and their code repositories through Visual Studio Code, ensuring they work smoothly. We've launched new Microsoft Power Platform features for GitHub Codespaces and Azure API Management, now in preview.
