About Apache Pulsar

Apache Pulsar is a top-level project of the Apache Software Foundation. It is a next-generation cloud-native distributed message flow platform that integrates messaging, storage, and lightweight functional computing. Multi-machine room and cross-region data replication, with streaming data storage features such as strong consistency, high throughput, low latency, and high scalability.

Apache Pulsar Chinese developers and user groups are promoting the optimization of the community structure. For some popular projects such as KoP, MoP and other peripheral projects, SIGs (special interest groups) are established, so that everyone can better focus on each project to discuss issues and communicate. Development matters; gather more users and developers to build a community.

What is a SIG?

The full name of SIG is Special Interest Group, that is, a special interest group, which focuses on a specific project. Everyone is free to participate in the SIGs they are most interested in and are good at.

How does participating in a SIG help?

Community friends can participate more deeply in the ecological construction and development of Apache Pulsar. At the same time, as the logistical support force behind the SIG, StreamNative will actively provide diversified support:

• Technical experts in the corresponding fields of the Apache Pulsar community will participate in group discussions and collaborate with you;
• The introduction and major progress of the SIG will be displayed on the Apache Pulsar community public account;
• Excellent work results, outstanding contribution members, etc. will be disseminated in the form of special interviews;
