Recently, the well-known Windows hardcore fan developer Lucas Brooks found an Easter egg in the Windows 1.0 system: A list of developers involved in the development of the operating system .

He tweeted:

"It's well hidden, they put encrypted data at the end of a bitmap file (smiley bitmap), and at that time there was no tool to extract bitmaps from NE. Even if someone managed to extract the bitmap, they wouldn't Note the extra data at the end".

Lucas Brooks spent a whole day trying to find the Windows 1.0 Easter eggs, and after he reverse-engineered the early Windows binaries, he found and published the triggers of all the Windows 1.0 - 3.0 Easter eggs.

In November 1985, the epoch-making Microsoft's first graphical interface operating system Windows 1.0 was officially released, nearly 37 years .

The Easter egg found by Lucas Brooks is likely the first in Windows history, and the list includes a small "Congratulations!" text bubble and even a particularly important name: " Gabe Newell ".

This name must be familiar to everyone. Gabe Newell, commonly known as G Fat, worked at Microsoft from 1983 to 1996, during which he participated in the development of the Windows system, and currently serves as the president of Valve, which is the parent company of the Steam game platform.

But his relationship with Microsoft didn't end with a "departure." It is understood that Gabe Newell is also working with Microsoft recently to improve the Steam Deck experience for players.
