Job Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and build serverless commercial products based on Apache Pulsar/BookKeeper;
• Design, develop and optimize the core components of Pulsar Functions/Pulsar Connectors;
• Build an ecosystem around Apache Pulsar/BookKeeper;
• Build a developer community of Apache Pulsar/BookKeeper and conduct Apache Pulsar/BookKeeper technical evangelism;
• Write meticulous code and design documentation, and review other colleagues' code.

job requirements

• Familiar with at least one language in Java/Python/Go/C++/Rust, and have solid programming ability;

Solution Engineer

• Support sales managers to communicate with customers on demand and technical exchanges, and build product demonstrations, design and explain Pulsar solutions, and write relevant documents according to demand;
• Participate in and complete the technical exchanges, implementation and deployment, document preparation and summary reports in the POC stage to ensure that the technical level can meet customer expectations;
• Responsible for customer technical support, including Pulsar deployment, upgrade, configuration changes, introduction to usage of ecological components (Function/Connector, etc.), principle explanation, best practices, fault location analysis, etc.;
• Understand the customer's product functional requirements or bug feedback, and cooperate with the R&D team, documentation team, etc. to promote the optimization and upgrading of related products;
• Based on day-to-day technical support work, write knowledge base articles and regularly share relevant experience with the team.

job requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above, computer majors are credited, more than 3 years of work experience, and cloud product service experience is credited;
• Have good learning and research ability, when faced with a new product or feature, can master it in a relatively short time;
• Have good communication and expression skills, be good at listening to customers' problems and quickly find the key points to solve problems, and hope to help customers succeed through interaction with customers;
• Familiar with Linux operating system, such as common commands, file system, system configuration, etc., have strong fault location and problem solving ability, and have rich experience in dealing with major faults;
