This is after the official release of the "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Development Plan" and the "Overall Plan for the Construction of Hengqin Guangdong-Macao Deep Cooperation Zone". Another innovative practice of cross-border digital service integration. In the first stage, financial information is used as a pilot area.

The Guangdong-Macao cross-border data verification platform is developed based on the domestic secure and controllable blockchain underlying open source platform FISCO BCOS. It aims to provide efficient cross-border data verification infrastructure for institutions in Guangdong and Macao, and then provide residents and enterprises in the two places with Convenient cross-border service experience. The Guangdong-Macao Cross-Border Data Verification Platform is another innovative pilot project of Qinao Finance based on people's livelihood and serving people's livelihood, providing valuable practical experience for Qinao Finance's cross-border cooperation.

It is understood that the platform is coordinated and promoted by the Macao Science and Technology Development Fund and the Financial Development Bureau of the Hengqin Guangdong-Macao Deep Cooperation Zone. Nanguangtong Co., Ltd. is the operator of the Macau side, Macau Wangao Information Technology Co., Ltd. is the platform technology supplier, and Shenzhen Qianhai WeBank Co., Ltd. is the open source technology supporter of the blockchain.

Among them, the platform's data verification capabilities are developed based on the underlying open source platform FISCO BCOS of the blockchain, relying on the immutability and traceability of blockchain technology to ensure the authenticity, reliability and privacy of data. In practice, users independently transmit data across borders, and institutions in Guangdong and Macao do not directly transmit and exchange user data, but verify the credibility of the data by comparing hash values rather than specific information, thereby protecting the data privacy of users and institutions , reduce the risk of cross-border data trustworthiness and abuse.

The Guangdong-Macao Cross-Border Data Verification Platform is an open platform. Currently, a number of Guangdong and Macao banking institutions are negotiating to launch services on the platform. It is expected that several application services will be launched within this year. As the test of the platform operation matures, the project parties will also promote the expansion of the platform service to more financial institutions in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and further explore the promotion of the platform service to other application areas.

The launch of the Guangdong-Macao cross-border data verification platform marks another successful practice of FISCO BCOS in the field of cross-border data credible verification. As early as May 2020, the cross-border mutual recognition system of Guangdong and Macao health codes based on FISCO BCOS was launched and served the customs clearance of Guangdong and Macao during the epidemic.

The Guangdong-Macao Health Code Cross-border Mutual Recognition System is developed based on FISCO BCOS, and adopts WeIdentity, an open source entity identity identification and trusted data exchange solution of the WeBank blockchain, allowing users to carry and declare personal health information independently, and pass verifiable digital certificates. On-chain, the institutions in Guangdong and Macao can still conveniently verify the authenticity and validity of information in seconds even when the back-end is not interconnected, which promotes mutual trust and mutual recognition of epidemic prevention data in Guangdong and Macao. As of the end of 2021, more than 100 million people have passed through customs with health code clearance certificates.
