First reading session! OceanBase Chief Architect Zhu Weng Interpretation "OceanBase Database System Concept"
This book is the first time to comprehensively, systematically and accurately explain the concepts and principles of OceanBase. When expounding the concepts, we hope to accurately express the nuances of semantics under different tenant modes, and strive to be precise in every sentence.
While receiving many favorable comments, we also heard many other different voices. For example, some parts of this book are very interesting, and we want to communicate more deeply, especially Chapter 4 - Distributed Database Objects, so this book In the book club, we invited Zhu Weng, the chief architect of OceanBase, the author of this book, to explain to us about "distributed database objects" in person.
The first version! OceanBase Community Edition 3.1.3, as the first version in 2022, was officially released on March 30
The major updates of this version come from two parts, the introduction of major features from the Enterprise Edition and the feedback and needs from community users. Six feature highlights and two behavior changes.
