In this article, we continue to add new functions to this table on the basis of the previous steps: filter (filtering) and sort (sorting) functions.

1. In the search bar in the upper right corner of the table control, enter Guess and then click the icon of the magnifying glass to search, or filter:

This filtering function is implemented based on the LastName of the OData model, so now the table only displays the only user record whose LastName is Guess .

2. Click another sort button on the toolbar to sort based on the LastName field.

After clicking, the LastName of the table row items is sorted in ascending alphabetical order. At the same time, there are a total of 19 pieces of data on the Mock Server, and this value is returned by the $count operation.
