Apple headquarters building is open! Developers can participate in WWDC 2022 special events live

Recently, Apple officially announced that developers can participate in WWDC 2022 for free by registering and visit its developer center established last year​.

The Apple Worldwide Developers Conference, which has been held regularly by Apple since its first session in California in 1983, is held annually by Apple. The main purpose of the conference is to allow Apple to showcase the latest software and technologies to developers.

Apple said the event will be held on June 6 at Apple Park in Cupertino, California, the Apple spaceship headquarters building designed by former Apple President Steve Jobs during his lifetime.

Apple is kicking off WWDC 2022 with this special all-day live experience event. At that time, developers will communicate offline with Apple's development team and experts, watch themed videos, and explore the new developer center.

It is understood that Apple revealed last year that it is building a dedicated developer center in the Apple Park campus, but did not provide relevant details. This year's WWDC or the first official appearance of the developer center.

According to Apple's official announcement, any developer participating in the "Apple Developer Program" or "Apple Developer Enterprise Program" can submit an application during the period "May 9th at 9:00 a.m. - May 11th at 9:00 a.m. Pacific Time". Apple will distribute invitation letters through a random lottery process, and inform developers of the application results at 6:00 pm on May 12. As with previous WWDC live events, invitations are non-transferable.

It is currently expected that WWDC 2022 will focus on the release of upgrades for operating systems such as iOS16, iPadOS16, watchOS9, and macOS13.
