Programming is not just a job task, programming can also be a tool to improve yourself in all aspects, otherwise how can you use technology to change the world - Dont
Today, ten years ago, SegmentFault was officially established, like a young green shoot that began to grow. During this period, it carried the warm sunlight, bathed in the soft spring breeze, challenged the torrential rain, and experienced the bitter winter snow. Fortunately, the SegmentFault Sifu presented to us today has grown into a big tree that can withstand some wind and rain. This kind of growth cannot be separated from the pruning of the administrators, and it is also inseparable from the planting of every user in the community.
As Qi Ning, one of the founders of SegmentFault, said:
"SegmentFault is a community that belongs to everyone, so at this special time, we want to celebrate it with the members of the community."
In the past ten years, thousands of developers have joined the SegmentFault community. We are excited to see every new face, and we are also moved by the old friends in the community who have accompanied them for many years. It's like meeting an old friend who has known each other for many years. Maybe old friends will suddenly disappear in a certain period of time, but disappearing does not mean never seeing each other again, but the sentence after the reunion: long time no see.
Today, we're honored to have old friend @Dont in our 10-year Friends interview series.
I have something to say:
Dont has known Sifu for many years. It can be said that he is a "veteran user" in the Sifu community. During the interview, he mentioned that he watched Sifu grow up, and he also misses the old days. .
He said that programming is a technology that can change the world. I very much agree with this point of view. I even feel that this kind of sentiment is very similar to the "Avengers". Programmers like Dont are like the "Developer Alliance". They are determined to To change the world with "0" and "1".
The following is an interview with Dont from SegmentFault:
1. Do you remember your first acquaintance with SegmentFault? What kind of coincidence did you step into this community?
At that time, I was still in college, thinking about using php and jquery to write a website. When I encountered some problems, I just discovered SegmentFault, so I registered an account to ask questions. At that time, there were very few Chinese Q&A communities for programming, and SegmentFault did provide A good Q&A platform for developers.
2. Have you witnessed any changes in Sifu over the years? Which part of it touched you the most? On the way to grow up with Si, what do you think you have changed?
It can be said that I grew up watching SegmentFault, haha. From the initial question and answer community, to organizing activities, columns and courses, it has its own Chinese name and mascot.
The biggest touch should be the SegmentFault event. There used to be a SegmentFault user group, and our Guangzhou group friends were looking forward to when they would come to Guangzhou to organize an event. After waiting for a year or two, we finally came to Guangzhou to organize a technical event, so we Helped to publicize and actively signed up for volunteers. I felt that it was the first time I was so close to Sifu, and I also met the official Miss Sister and Brother of Sifu (I really feel that they are people with different aura and charisma) .
Thinking is the inspiration for my technical knowledge. From the ignorant questioner, I learned to think technically, and answered technical questions seriously. I miss the time when I was still in the Q group.
3. Why did you choose to be a programmer? Because of the dream or because of the reality, which one is more important?
Because the university major is computer, it is natural and "realistic" to become a programmer.
4. If one day you decide to give up programming due to various factors, what do you want to do?
Want to open a drink shop and fiddle with all kinds of drinks
5. The image of a programmer is inseparable from plaid shirts, black-rimmed glasses, backpacks and other items in the minds of many people. What do you want to say about this stereotype?
This is okay, the big deal is that I don't wear these, fortunately I didn't mention the hairline = =||
6. Is programming just a job for you? If not, what special meaning does it have for you?
I think programming is not just a job task, programming can also be a tool to improve your own efficiency in all aspects, otherwise how can you use technology to change the world?
7. Is there anything that worries you at work? Where does this anxiety come from? What do you usually do when faced with anxiety?
Encountering some challenges and approaching deadlines will make me anxious, forcing myself to think quickly about solutions.
Faced with anxiety, the main thing is to calm down first, drink a cup of water and coffee, sort out your thoughts with paper and pen, and then solve the problems one by one.
8. Age has a certain influence on the profession of programmers. Do you agree with this point of view? Have you thought about your future career plans?
There must be certain influences, and only by constantly improving one's ability level can the disadvantages brought about by these influences be smoothed out.
9. Please leave your wishes for the 10th birthday of the SegmentFault community
Happy Birthday Sifu~ Ten years of perseverance, finally, I hope the SegmentFault community can continue to persevere, do better and better, attract more developers, gather the power of technology, and come on together!
Conversations with old friends always make people feel warm, I think, if one day, Dont opens his own drink shop, then I must order a cup of hot milk tea with full sugar.
