It is a very fulfilling thing to achieve the goal perfectly through your meticulous logic.
——Wind chasing the blue sky

Today, ten years ago, SegmentFault was officially established, like a young green shoot that began to grow. During this period, it carried the warm sunlight, bathed in the soft spring breeze, challenged the torrential rain, and experienced the bitter winter snow. Fortunately, the SegmentFault Sifu presented to us today has grown into a big tree that can withstand some wind and rain. This kind of growth cannot be separated from the pruning of the administrators, and it is also inseparable from the planting of every user in the community.

As Qi Ning, one of the founders of SegmentFault, said:

"SegmentFault is a community that belongs to everyone, so at this special time, we want to celebrate it with the members of the community."

In the past ten years, thousands of developers have joined the SegmentFault community. We are excited to see every new face, and we are also moved by the old friends in the community who have accompanied them for many years. It's like meeting an old friend who has known each other for many years. Maybe old friends will suddenly disappear in a certain period of time, but disappearing does not mean never seeing each other again, but the sentence after the reunion: long time no see.

Today, we are honored to invite our old friend @WindZhulan to participate in our 10-year Friends series interview.

I have something to say:

It has been more than ten years since Fengzhuitian joined the Sifu community. During the dialogue with him, I realized that his love for programming is from the bottom of his heart. No matter when asked whether he chose to be a programmer because of his dream or because of reality, When I was asked if programming was just a job for him, his answer made me feel that he naturally embarked on this path and approached programming with a sincere heart.

He said that programming gave him a sense of accomplishment, and I think the most beautiful moment in programming is watching the code scroll on the screen after work.

1. Do you remember your first acquaintance with SegmentFault? What kind of coincidence did you step into this community?

I checked my registration time and it was April 25, 2012. At that time, I should have just graduated, and I was in the primary stage of learning programming and development. During the learning process, I joined some communities. SF was frequently mentioned by some bigwigs, so I joined curiously, and SF has been with me since then. My technical path to growth.

2. Have you witnessed any changes in Sifu over the years? Which part of it touched you the most? On the way to grow up with Si, what do you think you have changed?

From Q&A to columns, from activities to courses, from circles to recruitment, what has changed is more services, but what has remained the same is Sibe’s original intention of serving developers. Whether it is in the use of the Sifu community or from the identity of Sunny Gao, who is also a post-90s generation, I have realized a perseverance and belief. It is a precious quality to insist on doing the right thing for ten years.

3. Why did you choose to be a programmer? Because of the dream or because of the reality, which one is more important?

It is a great experience to be able to make what you imagine by yourself, and use it by users. From the perspective of the professional development of programmers, dreams and reality are consistent, not contradictory. The ideal and pursuit of technology can be applied in real business, and at the same time, personal value can be realized.

4. If one day you decide to give up programming due to various factors, what do you want to do?

I think I might be a designer. As a programmer, I still lack product ability and design ability before building a product. After all, it has always been an ideal to make my own product.

5. The image of a programmer is inseparable from plaid shirts, black-rimmed glasses, backpacks and other items in the minds of many people. What do you want to say about this stereotype?

The world of programmers is very simple, they focus more on the things they care about. As for what to wear, keep it simple and convenient. Of course, the programmers of the new era are very different, and they can no longer be matched with the original stereotypes.

6. Is programming just a job for you? If not, what special meaning does it have for you?

In addition to being work, programming is also a way of expressing and creating. It is a very fulfilling thing to achieve the goal perfectly through your meticulous logic.

7. Is there anything that worries you at work? Where does this anxiety come from? What do you usually do when faced with anxiety?

The anxious thing is that there are too many things to learn, and it is impossible to learn. For example, the development of front-end can be said to be changing with each passing day. Then all I have to do is choose my own direction, grasp the real bottom-level knowledge, and adapt to changes without change.

8. Age has a certain influence on the profession of programmers. Do you agree with this point of view? Have you thought about your future career plans?

The programmer's profession has been born for less than 50 years. I think the truly capable people will not worry about the influence of age. In the future, I hope to set up a Small Business Company. There may be few people in the company, but it will focus on making my own small and beautiful products.

9. Please leave your wishes for the 10th birthday of the SegmentFault community

Happy 10th birthday to the SegmentFault community! May SegmentFault develop better and better in the next decade, and continue to provide developers with an open, active and innovative community platform to help Chinese developers!

When asked about his anxiety at work, he said the anxiety is that there is too much to learn.

This is a different answer than I expected, I don't see piecemeal concerns in his words, only his purity of programming.
