In order to allow more users to truly experience the OceanBase database, Gitee and OceanBase jointly launched the annual OceanBase Technology Essay Contest, inviting developers to experience various ways of playing from deployment to migration. The theme of the first issue of essays will focus on "Introduction to OceanBase Community Edition" To Actual Combat" course learning and practice.

The time period is about 2 months, and the time nodes are as follows:

1. 2. Submission method Step 1: Submit the article through the warehouse issues, the article will be first published in the Gitee community, and add the tag #AnnualOceanBaseTechnical Papers;

3. After the preliminary review author submits the manuscript, the review team will conduct a preliminary review, and the reviewed articles will be published once a week and reprinted to the OceanBase Community Edition [Blog] "Getting Started" column, and the author will receive OceanBase peripheral gifts. Articles that pass the preliminary review can participate in the evaluation activities; for the articles that do not pass the preliminary review, the review team will give suggestions for modification, and they can be submitted for registration again after modification.

4. Evaluation
OceanBase technical experts selected the first, second, third and excellence awards according to the quality of the article content (including but not limited to novel themes, complete structure, clear logic, neat format, and practical significance). The number of words in this call for essays is not less than 800 words, with pictures and texts, original, and first published on Gitee; plagiarism will be considered invalid. In addition, we have also set up the Best Popularity Award and the Best Diligence Award as special rewards.
