1. Requirement Background

If we have multiple office needs and multiple computers that need to synchronize documents, we usually don’t want to run around with a notebook on our backs. At this time, Synology's Drive is synchronized, and two or more computers can be set up to synchronize the specified folder data as needed.
Note: I am Synology DS218j, other models or other brands of NAS, please refer to the handling.

2. Synology Drive Download and Move Folder Instructions

Synology provides desktop programs under Linux, but only for the x86 platform, and does not deal with the arm platform. Therefore, on Feiteng's processor platform (if it is an X86 hardware platform, the desktop version can be used directly), this article will use the Android mobile APP to solve the problem of data synchronization.

Note: Please double-click the APK program to install in the app store, after the installation is ready to download the mobile operating environment.
The following is the folder where the mobile environment is located /var/lib/kmre

/var/lib/kmre/data/kmre-1000-long This one is equivalent to the root directory of the data disk in the mobile phone

/var/lib/kmre/data/kmre-1000-long/0-麒麟文件 And this is the mapped personal home folder /home/long (Note, you must remember these clearly, in order to save trouble when we map later, all mobile application data will be directly put here )

3. Synology Drive Settings

Start the application, enter ID, username, password to enter

Click to move backup tasks

Click on sync task

Click the + sign to add a synchronization task (I created a new synologyfiles directory in the documents of my personal home folder for synchronization)

Set up the server directory and local directory


Set the corresponding parameters

Save and confirm.
