Free Online Workshop: Developing Command Line Tools with Node.js

Thanks to Jinshan Office, I have been a little irritable looking for a job recently. A few days ago, I went back to Chongqing with my wife to eat, drink and massage. I was very happy and felt a lot more relaxed. On the way back, I think this is the New Year’s Day ahead of schedule. Next, I have to do more things. The main job is uncertain, so let’s toss the side business first.

So I wanted to start an online workshop for junior developers on how to develop and publish an npm package using node.js.

what is workshop

workshop, Chinese called workshop, workshop. Probably the way is:

1. Some technical knowledge points explained by the lecturer
2. Other participants do live drills on the technical knowledge points they have spoken
3. Lecturers answer questions and explain in a timely manner
4. Taking into account the time factor, generally for some small topics, non-systematic training

Different from the live broadcast, the lecturer speaks + does it alone, and the workshop emphasizes giving everyone an opportunity to practice and answer questions on the spot.

possible harvest

This time I want to do a workshop on using node.js to develop rar decompression tools. You can learn:

• Install node.js
• Create a node.js project
• Develop command-line tools with JavaScript
• Use ready-made npm packages
• Using ESM in node.js
• Publish your own package to npm

After learning the above points, you can use the vast open source warehouses on npm and package them into your own tools. On the one hand, you can strengthen your work efficiency, and on the other hand, you can participate in the construction of open source projects as soon as possible. It's a big improvement in every way.
