In July 2019, Beijing also experienced occasional rain and gradually warming weather. I joined Sibu and became the first batch of employees of the "Sibu Beijing Office".

What was the situation at that time? Six or seven people are crowded in a small room with a small cubicle attached to the office. It is an office & temporary meeting room for Gao Yang. It is rather shabby when you think about it, but it feels like a startup company.

Although there is no reality but ideals, it is not a difficult choice for me to join in thinking about it. The interview process is omitted. I believe that every developer will be full of favor and curiosity about the "small and beautiful" technical community like Siwhy.

It didn't take long for the small house to live, but because of the increase in colleagues, we gradually became unable to sit down. We also moved to a large room in the same building that can accommodate 20 or 30 people. The office has grown larger and the company's structure has opened up, and it has also set off a new wave of "small waves" in the industry.

Sibu Beijing Office has now moved to a decent office building in Zhongguancun; Sibu can no longer be simply defined as a "wretched development" technical community; I also recently became a "former employee of Sibu" ".

Looking back on the past two years, there are many things worth thinking about and accumulating, so it is better to start with some arguments.

1. Beginning

The word "persistent to the beginning" appears in the mouths of entrepreneurs no less than the childhood "study hard and make progress every day." In fact, the truth is the same. Persistence is to learn hard, and the initial goal is to make progress every day.

@高阳和@波波 is based in the Beijing Office and is the boss that has the most contact in daily work. From my point of view, Gao Yang's original intention is more biased towards technical communities & developers, while Bobo's original intention is more towards media & business. This may have something to do with their resume and background as well as their daily work patterns.

There is not much communication with the 70 boss @Joyqi, but I still remember that when they first joined the company, they would do Dota 2 at noon and lunch break. In such an era where "there are no Dota 2 players in the game, there are Dota 2 players elsewhere", this may also be a kind of Rare original intention and perseverance. The communication with the big housekeeper @Fen is more online. I don't know what his original intention is, but he is the first thing I think about.

2. Media

The media is my main work content when I think about it. As an industry media, I cannot shoulder too many social responsibilities, and focus more on how to create value and disseminate information.

People are motivated when they come into contact with the media, driven by social and psychological factors. Good content is not only for dissemination, but also for feeling. It is an organic combination of receptive communication and immersive experience.

Many media nowadays put forward the slogan of "make content with depth and warmth", then the most effective way to express thoughts and emotions is to dig out stories. Why some content can make people unforgettable, most of them exist in people's memory in the form of stories. The process of storytelling is often the process of emotional transmission, and storytelling can reach people's hearts.

What traditional technical media lacks is precisely the story. So in the past two years, everyone has started to do interviews, plan salons, and hold Hakathon, just to bring people together and collide with some stories.

At the same time, we all know that in the future, not only texts, but also pictures, audios, and videos will capture everyone's attention. But behind this is time. In the next period of time, the fiercest competition in the media industry is time, and the competition for various commercial products will also be time. Because only by extending the vertical time can the content have more opportunities to be exposed and realized.

3. Anecdotes

Share an anecdote about the issue of "health". In 2020, I will stay in the hospital longer than in the company office.

During the worst period of the epidemic last year, I was hospitalized due to medical reasons. It is not a major problem, but it is necessary to find a doctor for frequent dressing and observation. Coupled with the isolation policy during the epidemic, he has to be hospitalized for recuperation.

The hospitalization process is omitted again, but I want to share a wonderful experience-it is easy to enter the "heart flow" in the ward. On the most efficient day, between the infusion of 3 bottles of liquid and two dressing changes, I lay on my bed and finished writing and published 10 manuscripts. This also made my colleagues jokingly let me go back to the hospital ward when my work efficiency was low.

Towards the end of the year, I went to the hospital for a follow-up second-stage operation, and the hospital stay was still one month. But with the gradual growth of team members and the addition of new colleagues, this time I am basically in a state of fishing and paddling, which is quite beautiful.

The biggest impact of the two hospitalizations may be a weight gain of 20 jin. But fortunately, last year I developed the habit of insisting on exercising. In the recent physical examination, besides reminding me to lose weight, other indicators of my body were all good. Therefore, the expression "healthy fat man" is basically valid.

4. Find yourself

During the two years I joined Sibu, I went through a process of finding myself.

I studied computer at university, said that I played cross talk and played e-sports competitions; I practiced in the Physician Association and helped doctors organize surgery tutorials and case files; although I have been in the media field after graduation, I have more or less engaged in investment and fashion magazines. , We-media, sports rehabilitation, catering, P2P, cross-border e-commerce and other industries, whether it is foreign aid for a friend’s company or incubating investment projects with the boss, it is a rare experience.

But what am I suitable for? What is the future direction of work? Because the things you touch are too mixed, there is no complete concept.
