The Computer Design Competition for College Students in China is one of the earliest competitions for undergraduates in colleges and universities in my country. From 2008 to 2019, it has been independently or jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Education's Colleges and Universities and Computer-related Education and Instruction Committee. The purpose of the competition is to promote learning, education, and innovation through competition, and to serve the country to cultivate innovative, compound, and applied talents for the all-round development of morality, intelligence, physical beauty, and labor.

The 2022 China Undergraduate Computer Design Competition Smart Retail Challenge is an event on the list of the National College Student Competition Ranking List.

Tournament introduction

Competitors:

All Chinese undergraduates (including vocational undergraduates) and international undergraduates who are enrolled in mainland Chinese universities in 2022.

Introduction to the competition:

Task content: This competition question takes smart retail as a real application development scenario, requiring contestants to complete the development and design of smart settlement systems in this scenario based on technologies such as computer vision, deep learning, and edge computing, such as visual settlement desks, smart shelves, and smart shopping. car etc. The competition questions are divided into two major tasks, corresponding to the direct reporting competition area qualifiers and national competitions.

Task description: The participating teams need to design an intelligent settlement system based on computer vision recognition technology, and complete tasks such as data processing, model training, and model verification on the artificial intelligence competition platform. The system needs to be deployed on the designated end-side hardware and run. Realize the settlement task for the designated commodities at the competition site.

Competition platform: The designated artificial intelligence competition platform and artificial intelligence end-to-side development kit.
