  • Price Hike for Adobe Subscriptions: Starting on June 17, subscribers to Adobe's Creative Cloud All Apps plan will be charged more. The plan is being renamed Creative Cloud Pro. Annual plan for individuals goes from $60 to $70 per month, student and teacher plans from $35/month to $40/month, and annual teams pricing from $90/month to $100/month. Monthly (non-annual) subscriptions increase from $90 to $105.
  • Change for Single-App Subscribers: As of June 17, single-app subscribers will get 25 generative AI credits instead of 500.
  • New Multi-App Plan: Current subscribers can opt for Creative Cloud Standard with an annual subscription of $55/month and monthly subscription of $82.49/month. But this plan limits access to mobile and web app features and doesn't include premium generative AI features. New subscribers won't have this option; they'll have to choose the new AI-heavy Creative Cloud Pro plan.
  • Included Features: Both Creative Cloud Pro and the previous Creative Cloud All Apps plan include Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Lightroom, and access to Adobe's web and mobile apps. AI features include unlimited usage of image and vector features in Adobe apps and specific video generation features. Creative Cloud Pro subscriptions have 4,000 monthly generative credits for video and audio tasks.
  • Customer Reactions: Some customers are upset, like MikeyPx96 who said the price increase for the "all apps" plan is due to AI and the new "Standard" plan has limited features. Another Redditor, Bmorgan1983, commented that they don't need more AI. Adobe isn't the only one; Canva also had a 300 percent price hike for some business customers last year and partially relented in October. Adobe is trying to balance introducing new features with maintaining creative customers' interest.
