GoboLinux 017.01 - 发行说明

Introduction: Presenting GoboLinux 017.01 with a rethought file system structure. Created to explore new approaches. 017.01 is a bug-fix update since initial ISO release. Hisham Muhammad is stepping down and Philip Pok is taking over.
Availability: Available as an ISO download from the website.
Overview of this release:
- Main changes: Resolved various known issues like including UnionFS-Fuse, bringing up loopback network interface, updating search URL, etc. Fixed symlink issue, some startup tasks, installer clock mode, added support for eMMC, ported Freshen to Python 3, updated core packages and tools, switched compression, updated Firefox default profile and switched on numlock during boot.
- Updated Packages: Many packages updated like Automake, Dracut, E2FSProgs, Firefox, etc.
- Added packages: CA-Certificates, Cpio, Fuse, NumlockX, Tree, UnionFS-Fuse.
- Gobolinux in-house tools: Updated BootScripts, Compile GIT, ConfigTools, Dit, EnhancedSkel, GoboNet, Scripts. Added BuildLiveCD and Freshen.
Known outstanding issues: Installing bootloader on GPT/UEFI in VM fails. Copy & Paste between VM and host doesn't work. Documentation is being updated and contributions are welcome.
Expectations: As an experimental distribution, there may be bugs. Encourage users to solve them with community support and share discoveries.
Outlook: Another point release this year focusing on updating base packages and squashing bugs.
