- Most Used APIs: Camera API, Notifications, Permissions, Deep Linking etc. Among them, Notifications, Deep Linking and Permissions also rank among top pain points.
- State Management: Redux received most negative feedback (about 18% dissatisfaction). React's built-in state management was liked by 31% and Zustand by 21%. Zustand is the rising go-to modern state management library with a simple developer experience. Context API is still popular for small apps.
- Automated Solutions: 71% of respondents use Expo's EAS Build. Manual methods like Xcode and Android Studio are less prevalent but still used by 59.7% and 54.5% respectively.
