• Django 5.2 Release: The Django team is happy to announce the release. Release notes at [https://docs.djangoproject.co...]. Highlights include default automatic model import in [shell], support for composite primary keys with [django.db.models.CompositePrimaryKey], and easier overriding of [BoundField].
• Get Django 5.2: From our downloads page or the Python Package Index. PGP key ID is 3955B19851EA96EF.
• End of Support: Django 5.1 has reached the end of mainstream support. Final minor bug fix and security release [5.1.8] was issued today and will receive fixes until December 2025. All users should upgrade. Django 5.0 has reached the end of extended support. Final security release [5.0.14] was issued today and users are encouraged to upgrade to Django 5.1 or later.
