Elite for VIC 20: An unofficial port by Aleksi Eeben in 2025. It's the VIC 20 version of the 1984 classic, one of the first open-world space trading games.
- Requirements: 32K + 3K RAM expansion, 1541 or SD2IEC for saving game progress. Joystick is optional.
- Based on: The C-64 source. VIC 20 specific graphics, text, keyboard & joystick input, and sound routines were written from scratch.
- Features omitted: Extended planet descriptions, planetary details, missions further in the game, pause mode options, and Find Planet option in Galactic Chart.
- Ships included: 30 different ships, 27 of which are unique designs. Three ship blueprints removed (Moray due to a bug, Constrictor in a mission, and Cougar which is rare). Ships that appear as both pirates and traders share blueprints. Both Coriolis and Dodo Space Stations are included.
