Today's Update: Updated apk-tools to an rc tag, entering beta phase after about a year and a half.

• General Changes: Rolling release, updates will keep coming, new images in coming days.

Changes since Alpha:

• Template Count: From ~1000 templates in main to ~2800, with all major desktops, browsers, and more programs.
• Commit Count: From ~6000 commits by 11 authors to almost 20000 commits by over 100 authors.
• Under-the-Hood Improvements: In service management, build infrastructure, cbuild system, allocator, /var and /etc, userland, libdinitctl, sd-tools, etc.
• Supported Architectures: Currently 5 (aarch64, ppc64le, ppc64, riscv64, x86_64), with 3 being tier-1.

Plans for 2025:

• System logging overhaul, support for mount and network mounts in service management, better cgroups support and elogind removal, service-based timers, service configuration file overhaul, switch to dbus-broker.
• Aim to automate more on infrastructure side and introduce better build hardware for RISC-V if possible.
