  • Ruby on Rails 1.0 and Modern Ruby: Rails 1.0 was released about 18 years ago, just a day after Ruby 1.8.4. It's interesting to see bundler being used as it didn't exist at that time and RubyGems wasn't a default part of Ruby 1.8. A modern Ruby can somewhat run Rails 1.0.

  • Programming Ruby 3.3: Affectionately called "the Pickaxe" due to its cover image. It's back focused on Ruby 3.3 with a new lead author, Noel Rappin. Noel has blogged about the release and was interviewed in issue 630.
