• Technology and Features: It relies on the same underlying technology as other Google chatbots. It can assimilate various file types and has a large context window. It creates an "AI expert" to answer questions and brainstorm. It also originated Audio Overviews which will be accessible in the app.
• Subscription and Contenders: Some features like Audio Overviews are only available with a $20 Gemini Advanced subscription. NotebookLM is a contender for Google's best AI idea as it doesn't intrude on workflows and offers useful features. It allows access to existing AI experts and integrates with the Android sharing menu. An iOS version is also listed for pre-registration with an official launch date of May 20 (same as Google I/O).
