- Denuvo in the News: Developers at Denuvo have been in the news due to cracks against their tough digital rights management (DRM) tools. On Sunday, their private web-form message depository was cracked.
- Leaked Log File: The first proof of the leak came from 4chan where an anonymous user posted a link to a 11MB log file hosted at denuvo.com. It contains messages submitted via Denuvo's public contact form since 2014 and much of the web database content is unsecured.
- Contents of the Log: The log file has countless spam messages, complaints, queries from pirates, and threats. It also shows queries from many game makers like 343 Industries (about applying Denuvo to upcoming Halo Wars games), Microsoft, TaleWorlds, Harmonix Games, Capcom (with multiple requests including a Windows 10 UWP release), Ninja Theory, and others.
- Query Sent by Other Companies: Codemasters, Relic Entertainment, 505 Games, Kalypso, and even Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing producers sent queries to Denuvo, but it doesn't mean their products will have Denuvo DRM. Some queries might not be legitimate as any email and information can be entered.
- Contact Form Issue: The send button on Denuvo's contact-form page is not functioning, so questions couldn't be sent to the company regarding the leaked messages and security practices. The report will be updated with any public statement from the company.
