Radxa X4 Overview: It's a credit card-sized Intel Processor N100 SBC similar in cost to Raspberry Pi 5. Has dual micro HDMI, 4 USB ports, Ethernet & WiFi, 40-pin GPIO via RP2040.
- Specifications: Quad-core N100 up to 3.4 GHz, 6MB cache, 24EU graphics. 4GB/8GB LPDDR5 (16GB optional). M.2 2230 NVMe SSD up to 3400/3100 MB/s. 2x micro HDMI, 3.5mm jack. 2.5GbE, WiFi 5/6, BT 5/5.2. 3x USB 3.2, 1x USB 2.0. 40-pin GPIO with various interfaces. 12V power via USB-C/input header. 85x56x20mm, 0-60°C temp range.
- Supported OS & Documentation: Windows 10/11, Debian/Ubuntu Linux supported. Hardware access/control library coming. Documentation in progress, can download product brief, schematics, etc.
- Comparison with AAEON UP 7000: Similar but pricier industrial-grade SBC reviewed last year. UP 7000 worked well with better performance than Pi 5 and fine GPIO. Cooling needed, Radxa didn't provide info yet but now has a metal case with fan.
- Pricing & Availability: 4GB sells for $60.63 on Aliexpress, 8GB for $79.96. Both out of stock but will be available soon. eMMC flash models later, industrial-grade Amston Lake variants may come. Available until at least September 2032.
