- Nix Camp 2025 Details: An 8-day event from August 27th to September 3rd. Held near Welsh/British countryside, surrounded by nature and friends. No formal talks etc., but attendees encouraged to share and give informal talks. Fifth Nix Camp.
- Tickets/Booking: Dates are August 27th - September 3rd, with two parts and two venues. Ticket option 1 is £150 per person (attendance and food, no accommodation). Option 2 is £300 per person (attendance and accommodation at AstralShip Venue). Attendees need to find their own accommodation in Liverpool/Birkenhead. Using [NixOS module for pretix] and [simple-nixos-mailserver] for ticketing and mail services.
Venue & Accommodation:
- Part 1 at [BirkenHack] in Birkenhead from 27th - 30th August. Attendees find their own accommodation in Birkenhead or nearby Liverpool. Trains available until 11:40 PM. Visit DoES Liverpool, Hilbre Island and Birkenhead Park.
- Part 2 at [Astralship] in Deiniolen, Wales from 31st August - 3rd September. 8 rooms available for on-site accommodation with the more expensive ticket option. Accommodation provided by a hackspace in an old chapel with beautiful surroundings. Many AirBNB and hotel options in the area. Food provided to those not staying overnight.
